My name is Maya A. Mays. I’m 44 years young (I promise I feel like my life is just beginning). I relocated to Atlanta, GA from Hampton, VA in 2019, and babyyyy it has been quite the adventure.

I’m a striving entrepreneur and a remote healthcare professional. I’ve been working from home for 5 years now, and I absolutely love it. It gives me enormous freedom and whewww the Atlanta traffic chileee. No thank youuu!! Find somebody else to do it okay!! lol

I have a 19-year-old daughter who just began her sophomore year at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. #AggiePride I also have a 14-year-old bonus daughter who resides on the West Coast, and recently engaged to my fiancé, James.

A lot is happening in my life, and I wanted to create a safe space not only for me to share but for you too Sis. As I’m learning to navigate being an empty nester I realize that no one really warned me about how difficult it is. It has been a journey of self-discovery and welcoming the season of picking up things that I put down and finishing things that I started.

Above all, I’m a woman who knows the struggle of hitting rock bottom, robbing Sally to pay Sue, divorce, pain, and childhood trauma, and just wanting to end it all. I’ve been there!

Healing is an ongoing journey but it all starts from within, and I want to see you SMILE again & genuinely want to see you WIN!
